Gretel has joined Disney's Frozen Broadway North American tour as understudy to Elsa.
September 2022
Gretel has been cast as Betty Haynes in White Christmas playing at Little Theatre on the Square in Illinois, from December, 2022.
November 2022
Gretel will be returning as an Elsa understudy for Disney's Frozen Singapore season performing at the Marina Bay Sands until March 19th, 2023.
November 2021
Gretel Scarlett has relocated to the USA as a permanent resident. She is now residing in NYC.
February 2021
Gretel has been cast in Disney's Frozen at Sydney's Capitol Theatre, to understudy Jemma Rix as Elsa.
December 2020
Gretel Scarlett performs the role of 'Berthe' (one she does not cover) as an emergency understudy during the previews of Pippin in Sydney - See Theatre People article. WEEKLY WRAP- DECEMBER 7TH, 2020 - Theatre People.
October 2020
Gretel has been cast in the first post-Covid musical theatre reopening of Pippin at Sydney's Lyric Theatre. She will be understudying and performing the roles of Catherine and Fastrada.

Gretel has recently completed her Certificate of Distinction in Vocal Pedagogy from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, as well as attending the Penn State University Musical Theater Voice Pedagogy Workshop.

Gretel has completed all 3 levels of Somatic Voicework™ known as The LoVetri Method in conjunction with the Baldwin Wallace University.

Gretel Scarlett was accepted to continue advanced acting training in Vancouver, BC.
January 2018
After solo hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from Canada to Mexico, Gretel has returned to full time study moving to Los Angeles where she has commenced studying at the renowned Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in West Hollywood.
December 2017
After 5 months, Gretel Scarlett completed the solo hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, ending at Southern Terminus at the USA/Mexican border.
July 2017
On July 12th, Gretel Scarlett undertook a 5 month solo hike across the USA on the Pacific Crest Trail, travelling 2600 miles from Canada to Mexico.

It was announced on August 4th that Gretel Scarlett will be starring alongside Adam Garcia in Australia's professional production of 'Singin in the Rain' opening in Melbourne at Her Majesty's Theatre in May 2016.
